Rug Cleaning

The regular cleaning of rugs is important not only for appearance but also for hygiene reasons and to prolong their lifetime. Dust, dirt and other particles which become trapped in rugs can attract dust mites, which are associated with health conditions such as allergies and eczema. Professional cleaning can remove these from the depths of the fibres to ensure hygiene is maintained. A professional clean can also ensure the correct techniques are used for a particular type of rug, tackling stains and cleaning the fringes without damage.

We have an in-house facility dedicated to the cleaning of rugs.

• initial survey of the rug(s) to determine the best cleaning method and test the dyes to ensure they are colour-fast
• specialist cleaning techniques depending on the type of rug – including hot water extraction cleaning and dry cleaning methods – including cleaning the fringes
• stain removal where required
• all-inclusive collection and delivery service at convenient times for the customer
• optional stain protection, carpet moth treatment, deodorisation, anti-bacterial treatment and anti-allergen treatment (see Additional Services)
